Albania received €472.4 million in grants in 2008-2024: €410.2 million in investment grants and €62.2 million in technical assistance. These grants support estimated investments of €4.5 billion in rail and road transport, renewable energy and energy efficiency, electricity transmission, gas interconnectors, water supply and sanitation, flood protection, schools and health facilities, broadband connectivity, digital school infrastructure, and high-performance computing.

The country benefitted from eight EIP flagship investments in 2020-2024, which directed €934.4 million towards transport, energy, and digital infrastructure investments. The WBIF contributed €333.4 million in grants to these investments, of which €330.7 million was EU IPA funding and €2.7 million was Bilateral Donor funding.
