The WBIF has supported estimated investments of €3.8 billion in the public sector in North Macedonia.

North Macedonia received €502.1 million in grants in 2008-2025: €467.5 million in investment grants and €34.6 million in technical assistance. These grants support estimated investments of €3.8 billion in rail and road transport, renewable energy, gas and power interconnections, energy efficiency, water supply and sanitation, waste management, health, education and judicial facilities.

The country benefited from ten EIP flagship investments in 2021-2024, channelling a substantial €973 million towards investments in sustainable transport, clean energy, wastewater treatment, and waste management. The WBIF contributed €300.5 million in grants to these investments, of which €296.7 million was EU IPA funding and €3.8 million was Bilateral Donor funding.
