This investment project will rehabilitate and upgrade the section between Bar and Golubovci of the Bar – Vrbnica railway line, which is the most important line in Montenegro and is part of the indicative extension of the TEN-T Core Network to the Western Balkans. It will bring 39.6 km of railway line to TEN-T standards, including electrification, signalling and telecommunication systems.
The EU has provided technical assistance for project preparation and co-funds the investments under Flagship 2 - Connecting North to South - of the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans through the WBIF.
