Montenegro Wastewater and Water Supply Projects: Technical Assistance in Preparation of Project Documentation

In order to improve the quality and sustainability of Montenegro's water supply and waste water infrastructure, WBIF has provided technical assistance for the preparation of design and tender documentation and assistance during tendering and awarding of contracts for works in 7 municipalities located mainly in the north and interior of the country.

More specifically, this grant has supported:

• Design and construction of sewage network and WWTP in the Municipality of Rožaje
• Design and construction of wastewater system in the Municipality of Cetinje
• Design and construction of water and wastewater system in the Municipality of Kolašin
• Design and construction of sewerage network in the Municipality of Mojkovac
• Upgrade of the water supply system in the Municipality of Pljevlja
• Design and construction of water supply system in the Municipalities of Plav and Gusinje

The overall purpose of investments is to create facilities for the application of European standards in the domain of water supply and waste water management and the realisation of Master Plans in the areas of water management, improvement of service quality to achieve functional effectiveness and compatibility of water supply and waste water management systems simultaneously with environment protection.
