Reconstruction of Scepan Polje - Pluzine Road: Detailed Design, Tender Documents, ESIA

Project Description

Scepan Polje - Pluzine is the main road connecting Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Together with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s section from Foca (Brod na Drini) to Hum, this would be the shortest connecting line between the two capitals: Sarajevo and Podgorica. It would also be the shortest line from Albania via Montenegro and BiH to Central Europe via Corridor Vc.

This investment in Montenegro has previously benefited from two WBIF technical assistance grants for the preparation of the Feasibility Study - Phase 1 and 2.

This TA grant, the third in a row, funds the preparation of the Detailed Design for the road section from the bridge to the border crossing point at Paklice, and an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the entire road Scepan Polje-Pluzine.
