This project aims to contribute to the rehabilitation and refurbishment of about twenty Health Provider Institutes (HPIs), in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. It benefits from a €3 million WBIF grant, mobilised from Bilateral Donors' contributions. The grant has helped define investment priorities across all HPIs, some of which will be executed as part of a different phase, as well as cover the complementary funding needed for the reconstruction of the Kozle Institute for Children Respiratory Diseases in Skopje.
This project is now complete, with the Kozle Institute in full operation.
