The Technical Assistance to Connectivity in the Western Balkans – 2 (CONNECTA 2) has launched its website at www.connecta-info.eu. The new website features a detailed guide on how to apply for CONNECTA 2 assistance.

The technical assistance offered through CONNECTA 2 focuses on:

• Infrastructure projects: Assists in bringing EIP flagship and other key infrastructure projects in the digital, energy and transport sectors to the construction phase. Priority is given to the final phases of the infrastructure project preparation cycle. This includes updating and improving feasibility studies and designs, enhancing existing Cost-Benefit Analyses (CBAs) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) and carrying out climate risk and vulnerability assessments, among others.
  
  
• Transport connectivity reform measures: Assists in preparing and implementing national and regional transport connectivity reform measures, including technical standards. Intervention areas include transport safety, infrastructure resilience, intelligent transport systems, border crossings and greening of transport modes.

CONNECTA 2 is funded by the European Union to provide technical assistance to the Western Balkan partners for the implementation of the Connectivity Agenda, the Economic and Investment Plan (EIP) and the Growth Plan and Reform and Growth Facility. The four-year project started in December 2023.
